kapchai - 1974 HONDA CUB C70

just an update of my kapchai rebuilding project....from earlier post here http://rusdi3713.fotopages.com/?entry=1420764

now i need to get all the parts..tires, headlight, seat, wiring, battery, etc..anybody????....anybody knows of a good spare parts shop around kuala lumpur...
i know that there r a lot especially in jalan ipoh which around my working place but may be members here have some experience in getting the parts from such shops...

the body has been undercoated waiting for the final paint which shall be pearl white with blue shin..they said it is nice but i do not really concern so much...all in all the handle, tank and fork cost me rm400, the bodywork i.e .welding etc another rm180 and paint is rm500...not a concern so much on the cost but as long as the guy can make some money and did not squeeze me so much..the it is ok...

update as on 12/3/08..
first round of parts costed me rm960.00...the rim is already rm300+ and single seat is rm125..tyres pula around rm90..passed them to the mechanic on 1/3/08...
second round was about rm80.00..exhaust, pedal, side mirror etc..passed them two days later...and the same day paid the engine guy of rm500.00 out of rm650.00..katanye boleh kurang lagi...
went there on 8/3/08..off course on election day...but nothing happened...got a bit frustrated when the money spend and paid with nothing been done...dah tak ada mood nak tengok lagi...hope this weekend could see some progress...
by the way..all the parts were sourced or bought from a shop in jalan sentul...near to the police station...where there r few of them in that row....

update on 13/4/08...almost a month pass by...
stop by the workshop...saw only this where the body just been sprayed with the paint of my choice..pearl white..feel sad that not much has been done...and the engine is at the place...

took the whole thing back and send to the shop where i bought the whole stuff that day...just to help the malay make some money..well not worth it..last-last hantar kat cha juga..promised me to complete within a week...let see if cha juga buat kacau..kacau aku jadinye...
