by the roadside infront of our new house in 2001...city called bandar anggerik...shah alam
on tripod...can't remember the exposure time and aperture but for a few second so...25watt or so light of table lamp with blue shade...my brother found the camera in the dumpster smelly..obviously not in working order..the napkin cloth of my baby to cover some mess...on seasoned coffee table, note the buldgy effect of water has done on mdf board..
got the attention of 'pertandingan fotografi metro ahad'..wondering around shah alam stadium on sunday morning for sun rising over stadium but it was raining the night before...rather walk around and found this dewwy wet flower..among others
all those from the ever serving eos 88...blow up to 8x10 by my good friend in the mall jalan putra for free..tq and scanned at 200dpi

looking for good techniques and ideas for upcoming brother's wedding...holding hands, crowd from behind the couple, shallow dof focus...just anything to get inspired..thanx for sharing...a lot could be learned...don't look for the image but study the technique esp frm those pros...composition, lighting, detailing, framing, direction, subject, object, proportion...colour..

too late for red theme but enjoy..
bunga merah or red flower...do not know exactly what but such lines flowing fascinate me..it must be my kid playing with my nokia 3230..the only digital 'camera' for me until now
seeing double..when parked my car around 7.20 am at hentian putra, kuala lumpur..turned right...i saw these two perodua myvi(s)..thought my tired eyes watching mexico and iran world cup earlier on this morning..but actually two cars of the same color parking back to each other..no trick..notice the rim...

my journey into photography

mula interested in photography in secondary school...never thought that it was an art...think most of us would think so...joint school photography club...learnt basic of aperture, exposure, developing b/w film and printing the negative etc in the club small room..that's all for a start..never thought of photography ever then since left school for study in USA...may be could not afford to by a camera especially SLR...plus i can't see the small green and red light in the AE-1???correct me... eyepiece then ???...those days...never came accross my mind again for so long until saw a magazine in a book/magazine stall...popular photography...in early 2001..imagine that from 1979 or so until 2001...bought EOS88...now that i could afford..takut lak nak try semi-pro model then...as orang kata..buat-buat nak belajar..test skill balik...kononnya dah ada skill la tu..why canon...they have quite a good web site then..very organized with lots of tips and hows...bought one book..borrowed to somebody so cannot recall the title...kira sedekah...kiranya...balik dulu..sambung balik my journey later
now mid may...got back the book sometime about 3 to 4 months back if not mistaken...still reviewing it from time to time
